The price of cryptocurrency, including bitcoin, is volatile. Like any investment, putting your money into cryptocurrency may come with a risk. Therefore, it's not recommended to put all your savings or income into cryptocurrency.
Additionally, there is no intermediary involved in the processing of cryptocurrency transactions. As a result, it's not possible to dispute transactions.
It's important to double-check that you're sending your coins to the correct recipient address and to a wallet of the same kind.
For example, Bitcoin transactions will only be received if they are sent to Bitcoin addresses.
Finally, you're responsible for the security of your own coins and thus, you must educate yourself on how to safeguard your keys.
