To receive USDC in your Bitwala wallet, you must be verified.
- Log in to the app and go to Home.
- Select your USDC Wallet.
- Click the Receive button.
- Copy the displayed receive address.
- Send the receiving address (alphanumeric string or QR code) to the person who will transfer USDC to your Bitwala Wallet. You can use the Share button to share the address through WhatsApp, Telegram, email and other channels. Ensure the sender uses the ERC-20 network since sending USDC through
any other network may result in the permanent loss of funds.
Once the sender initiates the transfer and the transaction is confirmed on the blockchain, it will be displayed in the funds overview of your Wallets.
You can additionally verify the transaction on a blockchain explorer like Etherscan. Just enter the address or the transaction hash in the search input field and check whether the transaction is verified.
