To receive Bitcoin with Bitwala, you need to be verified.
- Log in to the Bitwala App and go to Home.
- Select Bitcoin Wallet.
- Click the Receive button.
- Select Bitcoin Wallet.
- Copy the displayed receive address and ensure there are no typos. Sending Bitcoin to the wrong address can result in permanent loss of funds.
- You can use the Request Amount button to generate a QR code to request a specific amount.
- Send the receiving address (alphanumeric string or QR code) to the person who will transfer bitcoin to your Bitcoin Wallet. You can use the Share button to share the address through WhatsApp, Telegram, email and other channels. Once the sender initiates the transfer and the transaction is confirmed on the blockchain, it will be displayed in the funds overview of your Bitcoin Wallet.
You can additionally verify the transaction on a blockchain explorer like blockchain.com. Just enter the address or the transaction hash in the search input field and check whether the transaction is verified.
