To receive Ether in your Vault, you need to have a Vault set up first. If you don't have a Vault yet, guide on how to create a Ethereum Vault.
-
Log in to the app, go to home (bottom left), select Ethereum Vault, and click the Receive button (QR code symbol).
-
Copy the displayed receive address, and ensure there are no typos since sending Ether to the wrong address can result in the permanent loss of funds.
-
Send the receive address (alphanumeric string or QR code) to the person who will transfer Ether to your Vault. You can use the Share button to share the address through Whatsapp, Telegram, email and other channels. Make sure that the sender uses the ERC-20 network since sending Ether through any other network may result in the loss of funds.
-
Once the sender initiates the transfer and the transaction is confirmed on the blockchain, it will be displayed in the funds overview of your Vault.
-
You can additionally verify the transaction on a blockchain explorer like Etherscan. Just enter the address or the transaction hash in the search input field, and check whether the transaction is verified.
That's it! You've successfully received Ether in your Vault.
